Hi guys, I apologize for the late blog entry.
For the end of last week, I was finalizing my EDEP plan to send to my supervisor. Hopefully she thinks I am on the right track. I also met with Callum to discuss my plan, because he is experienced in making EDEPs.
This week I am teaching the Up, Up and Away camp to 2nd grade students. I wrote the curriculum guide for this, so it is fun to see all of the things I came up with actually being put to use in the classroom. It is interesting to see what works and what doesn't and why, and seeing this will give me a better idea of the kind of activities to include in my EDEP and other lesson plans in the future. Right now, the campers are still pretty stuck on making millions of paper airplanes.
Paper airplanes are pretty awesome. What do you think of teaching the small people? Are they better/worse than the medium people? Haha I picture you being really good with elementary-aged students!
